Terms and Conditions made simple

Welcome to our Devine Carpet Care – for carpet, rug and upholstery cleaning.

By booking with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully to understand your rights and obligations.

1. Service Areas

We provide carpet and upholstery cleaning services to Sydney and the greater outer lying areas of Sydney. Due to the extensive travel distances in Sydney, and time required to conduct our business to the level of excellence we expect, the following policies apply to ensure efficient and fair service for all our clients.

2. Cancellation Policy

The following cancellation fees help us manage the operational costs and scheduling challenges associated with last-minute cancellations. When an appointment is cancelled on short notice, it becomes difficult to reallocate that time slot to another customer. The fee compensates for the time and resources reserved for your appointment and ensures we can continue to provide reliable and timely service to all our customers.

 

Standard Cancellation (January – October)

    • Any cancellation made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur a fee of $240.

 

Peak Season Cancellation (November – December)

    • Any cancellation made within 5 business days of the scheduled appointment will incur a fee of $240.
    • This policy ensures that our schedule remains efficient during our busiest time of the year.

3. Stain Removal Disclaimer

  • While every effort is made to remove all marks and stains, we cannot guarantee the total removal of all stains.
  • Some stains may be permanent due to their nature or due to pre-treatment by the client, which can sometimes set the stain.
  • We will use our professional judgment and expertise to treat each stain appropriately, but residual stains may remain.

4. Customer Obligations

  • Customers must provide accurate information regarding the fibre composition, age and condition of the carpets and upholstery to be cleaned.
  • Access to the property must be available at the scheduled appointment time.
  • Any special requirements or instructions must be communicated clearly at the time of booking.

5. Liability

  • Devine Carpet Care is not liable for any pre-existing damage to carpets or upholstery.
  • Devine Carpet Care are not responsible for any damage caused by the movement of furniture or other items by the customer.
  • Devine Carpet Care are not responsible for carpet / rug fibre damage if the Technicians have to move furniture off these floorings.

6. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of the service.
  • We accept various forms of payment as outlined during the booking process.

7. Changes to Terms and Conditions

  • We reserve the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on our website, and may also be noted in our emails.

By booking our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
